Lucky U Motel

My friend stays here on occasion to escape his crazy GF and I’ll sometimes pop in to visit He’s had nothing but positive experiences. While I haven’t stayed the night, the bed seems comfy and suits us well for a round of dominos.! Owners have been extremely friendly and accommodating even with the knowledge I’m not “on the room” Overpriced??? Come on now people! You’re not gonna get brand new with this location for the price!!! Take a realistic approach be for trying to bash Rooms are more than adequate in size and while dated, clean!

It's nice for what it is but they don't let you have guests not even to visit during the day

It’s an aged property and comes with aged property issues, however it is clean and safe. There were no bed bugs or other unwanted critters ..believe me I checked extensively. The area is a bit rough and I wouldn’t recommend letting your kids just run wild. The staff is kind and understanding but they do run a tight ship and have some rules that seem unreasonable however they are in place ultimately for your safety . Ok

I have ventured to all the small scaled motels on South Broadway with my girlfriend (Luck U; Holiday and 4U motel) I was at Lucky U for the first time the other night in room 207 I did think that it was a bit pricey for the area itself but its only about $10 more than the other ones nearby but its WORTH IT The lady at the front desk was very friendly; polite and made us feel very comfortable. We kind of expected the rooms to be in same condition as Holiday and 4U but it was 200% better than the others. It was very clean; the towels were put out very professionally and adequate toiletries were there for our stay We only saw one individual working in the rooms but he was working extremely hard. He obviously has a strong work ethic to handle all those rooms by himself. That's the type of person a motel needs to have on staff. There werent any bugs; it was quiet environment and highly recommended It's apparent that the staff is on top of their game and do an excellent job maintaining the rooms. If your in the area; stay a Lucky U; you'll get value for your dollar

I like the two bedroom set up very good for privacy if you are sharing a room with others. Staff is great and friendly they will work with you and trailer best to make your stay the best. Just respect the staff and the property and everything will be A OK

You know it's not the cleanest place, but it's NOT the 4U motel. I actually liked everytime I stayed here. The owners do a good job considering they are very little staff. For those who say and claim they had bed bugs, Did yous stay the rest of the night? Maybe you brought the bed bugs with your own belongings did you consider that? For every day and night that I've stayed here the owner was always replacing the mattresses like every time someone had checked out. He's pushy but he's on top of his game can't be mad at someone who is protecting his business, his home his entire life basically. And as for the police they don't bother unless you give them a reason Too not sure if anyone realizes that every hotel does police checks every night most just do it without being noticed. Anyway I would definitely stay here again.

Its has what you need and the bed feels hard and that's what needs to be replaced with a new mattress and the price could be lower but it's nice and it would be nice if they provided frying pans and pots to cook on the stove

The front desk lady was really nice. I reserved the room and she checked me in, there is an extra $10 deposit for the key which I haven't got back yet. I better call them. Typical motel room, the bed was foam-memory. No smoking in the rooms but they have a chair and bucket for butts outside the room. I liked the location because it was close to work and the price wasn't over $100. Yay!
